Managing the Platform Queue

The Admin Portal is the internal management dashboard used by NordStern system administrators to review incoming registration requests, issue workspace invitations, and monitor the tenant onboarding pipeline. It is hosted at https://admin.nordstern.live.

1. Authentication & Security

Due to the administrative privileges granted by this dashboard, access is guarded by strict security policies:

Admin Credentials: Requires a dedicated username and password credential. It does not use OTP login codes.
Isolated Session Cookies: Logging in issues a secure, host-only admin session cookie.
Access Gating: Admin sessions are completely isolated from standard customer or workspace operator sessions. An operator or customer account can never access this administrative interface.

2. Reviewing the Applications Queue

Upon logging in, administrators are presented with the Applications Queue, listing all submitted anchor applications in chronological order (newest first).

Administrators inspect each application to verify:

Business Verification: Review corporate profile details, registered company names, and email contacts.
Asset Specifications: Confirm the requested digital asset details (e.g. USDC parameters) to ensure it aligns with standard blockchain networks.
Banking Rails: Confirm the payment processor setup (e.g. Razorpay/Cashfree credentials).
Compliance Checks: Review the self-declared risk profiles and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.

3. Onboarding Decisions & Actions

For every pending registration request, the administrator can perform one of two actions:

Approve Application

Clicking Approve updates the workspace registration record:

Invitation Token: The system automatically mints a secure, single-use workspace activation token.
Onboarding Email: An email is sent to the applicant containing a unique redeem link.
Token Backup: The Admin Portal displays the generated token on-screen once, enabling the admin to copy and send the link manually if needed.

Reject Application

Clicking Reject blocks the onboarding flow:

Status Update: The registration record status changes to rejected.
Notification Email: A notification email is dispatched to the business contact informing them of the outcome.
Security Safeguard: No workspace parameters or database partitions are created, protecting platform resources.
